5 COMMON COMMERCIAL LAUNDRY EQUIPMENT REPAIRS

Here are five common commercial laundry equipment problems you can repair with replacement parts:

  1. The washer doesn’t fill with water. Check the inlet hose and ensure it’s not clogged or leaking. If the hose is cracked or punctured, order a replacement hose. There may be an issue with the water valve a service call is recommended at this point.
     

  2. The washer won’t stop filling. The overflow switch detects when the washer is full and automatically stops the water flow. Contact Harco Service for the repair. The drain valve on a front load washer may be leaking and require replacement.
     

  3. The tub fills but doesn’t spin. Adjust your load to ensure the machine isn’t overloaded or unbalanced. Large front load washers may require a new belt, contact Harco service to arrange a service call.
     

  4. Water doesn’t drain. You may have to replace a clogged or damaged drain pump that needs to be cleaned or replaced. Front load washers may require the drain valve be replaced or the drain line has been clogged.
     

  5. The dryer isn’t hot enough. Verify it is fully plugged in if an electric dryer. Please verify that the gas line is connected and the gas is turned on. Verify the proper cycle temperature was selected.
